An excellent article by Matt Farwell in the New Republic, “Jeffrey Epstein Chose New Mexico for a Reason,” has me asking what that reason was.
It’s hard to imagine that Epstein could find 20 willing women to seed with his DNA at his Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, as the New York Times reported Jeffrey Epstein told so many people in the early 2000s. It also doesn’t make much sense for any “normal” person to build a ranch out in a desolate area of New Mexico- and then dig a deep hole in the ground, (or perhaps build the home over an existing hole), with a spiral staircase leading down into the hole from inside the residence.
So, in trying to research why Jeffrey Epstein would choose New Mexico, you necessarily run into a long history of strange things involving New Mexico, not the least of which are the Manhattan Project, Area 51, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory, not to mention other well-known but poorly understood things associated with New Mexico such as the Roswell “aliens” and L. Ron Hubbard’s Scientology cult.
Between all that and Epstein’s connections to some of the most advanced scientists in the world, it’s difficult to contemplate all at once. Because Epstein was closely associated with famed geneticist George Church, and because if I postulate that Epstein and Church might conduct genetically-modified breeding or cloning of some sort in New Mexico, people might accuse me of believing in little green aliens in New Mexico anyway. So I decided to test the theory in the headline: Were the Roswell “aliens” a result of United States government genetic experiments?
I’ve seen on the internet in various places that the United States government was not capable of genetically modifying humans in the late 1940s, but my research suggests that they probably were. This article will contain some highlights of the development of eugenics theory and genetic research up until the point of the humanoid figures reported in a 1950 FBI report. This report is by no means definitive. It also includes a history of American support of eugenic and genetic research in Germany, and of Hitler and the Nazis per se. I think it’s a common misconception that eugenics was a “Nazi” thing, when really the United States was the one driving eugenics.
My style of reporting research, other than the introduction and summary, is more “cut and paste” than anything for a couple of reasons. Mainly, I’d rather quote the original authors who are more knowledgeable and better writers than I am. The other reason is time. If you’re trying to figure out what Epstein was up to with his connections to science, you don’t have time to become an expert on every scientific theory in the world and summarize everything in a scholarly manner. 1883. Francis Galton introduces eugenics to the world.
1883. From a paper by Garland E. Allen: “The British naturalist and mathematician Francis Galton (1822-1911) first introduced the term eugenics to the vocabulary of science. According to Galton’s lofty formation, eugenics was “the study of the agencies under social control that may improve or impair the racial qualities of future generations, either physically or mentally.’ By 1911 the chief American advocate of genetics, Charles B. Davenport (1866-1944) put it more bluntly; to him, eugenics was no less than ‘the science of the improvement of the human race by better breeding.'”
1900. Eugenics take hold in the United States.
1900. Garland E. Allen: “Although Galton coined the term eugenics in 1883, by 1900 neither he nor his followers had been able to establish a serious eugenics movement in England… With the rediscovery of Mendel’s laws of heredity in 1900, however, the study of heredity in general and eugenics in particular found fertile ground, particularly in the United States. By 1910 most American biologists, except for a stalwart few, agreed that Mendel’s theory could be applied to all sexually reproducing forms. The enthusiasm with which biologists — in the United States in particular — began to endorse the Mendelian scheme cannot be overemphasized.”
1904. The Station for Experimental Evolution is founded in Cold Springs Harbor, New York.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory: “In 1903 the Carnegie Institution of Washington (CIW) approved a plan, put forward by Charles Davenport, to establish a biological experiment station to study evolution at Cold Spring Harbor. While he was already directing the neighboring Bio lab, he was named the first director (1904-1934) of the CIW’s Department of Genetics. It was originally named the Station for Experimental Evolution (SEE), and had formally opened on June 11, 1904, in Cold Spring Harbor, to study heredity and evolution through breeding experiments with plants and animals.”
1907. Indiana becomes the first state to implement eugenics.
1909. California implements eugenics on a large scale.
1909. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “Eugenics was the pseudoscience aimed at “improving” the human race. In its extreme, racist form, this meant wiping away all human beings deemed “unfit,” preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in 27 states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in ‘colonies,’ and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.”

Harriman), the Rockefeller family, and then the Carnegie Institution until 1939.” “The ERO collected research mostly through questionnaires. These questionnaires asked questions which described the characteristics of individual people and their families. These characteristics ranged from physical to temperamental properties. Many of these questionnaires were collected by field workers, usually educated women (who had few other jobs open to them), who would go door-to-door asking people to fill out this information. Many of these women had bachelor’s degrees in biology, and graduate school degrees were not uncommon.”
1911. Proposed eugenic solutions in the United States now include executions.
Edwin Black, SF Gate: Eighteen solutions were explored in a Carnegie-supported 1911 “Preliminary Report of the Committee of the Eugenic Section of the American Breeder’s Association to Study and to Report on the Best Practical Means for Cutting Off the Defective Germ-Plasm in the Human Population.” Point No. 8 was euthanasia. The most commonly suggested method of eugenicide in the United States was a “lethal chamber” or public, locally operated gas chambers.” This report also opined that 10% of the public in the United States should not be allowed to have children.
1918. Executions begin in the United States via medical malpractice around this time.
1918. Edwin Black, SF Gate: In 1918, Popenoe, the Army venereal disease specialist during World War I, co-wrote the widely used textbook, “Applied Eugenics,” which argued, “From an historical point of view, the first method which presents itself is execution . . . Its value in keeping up the standard of the race should not be underestimated.” “Applied Eugenics” also devoted a chapter to “Lethal Selection,” which operated “through the destruction of the individual by some adverse feature of the environment, such as excessive cold, or bacteria, or by bodily deficiency.” (Paragraph) . Eugenic breeders believed American society was not ready to implement an organized lethal solution. But many mental institutions and doctors practiced improvised medical lethality and passive euthanasia on their own. One institution in Lincoln, Ill., fed its incoming patients milk from tubercular cows believing a eugenically strong individual would be immune. Thirty to 40 percent annual death rates resulted at Lincoln. Some doctors practiced passive eugenicide one newborn infant at a time. Others doctors at mental institutions engaged in lethal neglect. (Paragraph). Nonetheless, with eugenicide marginalized, the main solution for eugenicists was the rapid expansion of forced segregation and sterilization, as well as more marriage restrictions. California led the nation, performing nearly all sterilization procedures with little or no due process. In its first 25 years of eugenics legislation, California sterilized 9,782 individuals, mostly women.

1921. The Second International Congress of Eugenics is held in New York City. H.J. Muller, the first President of wrote in Our Load of Mutations: “As long ago as 1921 the fundamental theorem concerning the frequency, in a large population, of a disorder caused by mutation of a given gene was laid down by C. H. Danforth, in his address to the 2nd International Congress of Eugenics, held in New York City.”
1924. Adolf Hitler admires eugenics in the United States in “Mein Kampf.”
1924. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “During the ’20s, Carnegie Institution eugenic scientists cultivated deep personal and professional relationships with Germany’s fascist eugenicists. In ‘Mein Kampf,’ published in 1924, Hitler quoted American eugenic ideology and openly displayed a thorough knowledge of American eugenics. ‘There is today one state,’ wrote Hitler, ‘in which at least weak beginnings toward a better conception (of immigration) are noticeable. Of course, it is not our model German Republic, but the United States.’ (Paragraph). Hitler proudly told his comrades just how closely he followed the progress of the American eugenics movement. ‘I have studied with great interest,’ he told a fellow Nazi, ‘the laws of several American states concerning prevention of reproduction by people whose progeny would, in all probability, be of no value or be injurious to the racial stock.’ Hitler even wrote a fan letter to American eugenics leader Madison Grant, calling his race-based eugenics book, ‘The Passing of the Great Race,’ his ‘bible.'”

1924. Nazi Hydra, page 70: “Early in 1924, Hendrick Kouwenhoven, managing director of Bank voor Handel en Scheepvaart, traveled to New York. Meeting with walker and Harriman brothers, they founded the Union Banking Corp. Two of the directors of Union Bank, Groninger and Kouwenhoven, were Nazi directors of the Bank door Handel en Scheepvaart, formerly the von Heydt Bank. Von Heydt, also a nazi, was an identified as the intermediary between the Guaranty Trust and Hitler. 1926. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “By 1926, Rockefeller had donated some $410,000 — almost $4 million in today’s (2003) money — to hundreds of German researchers. In May 1926, Rockefeller awarded $250,000 toward creation of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Psychiatry. Among the leading psychiatrists at the German Psychiatric Institute was Ernst Rüdin, who became director and eventually an architect of Hitler’s systematic medical repression.” Rockefeller also funded the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics.
1927. Herman Muller describes how he caused genetic mutations in fruit flies with radiation.
1926-1927. ASU.edu: “Hermann Joseph Muller conducted three experiments in 1926 and 1927 that demonstrated that exposure to x-rays, a form of high-energy radiation, can cause genetic mutations, changes to an organism’s genome, particularly in egg and sperm cells. In his experiments, Muller exposed fruit flies (Drosophila) to x-rays, mated the flies, and observed the number of mutations in the offspring. In 1927, Muller described the results of his experiments in “Artificial Transmutation of the Gene” and “The Problem of Genic Modification”. His discovery indicated the causes of mutation and for that research he later received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1946. Muller’s experiments with x-rays established that x-rays mutated genes and that egg and sperm cells are especially susceptible to such genetic mutations.” Exploring biomedical research blog: “In 1926 at the University of Texas, Muller exposed male fruit flies to high doses of radiation to then let them mate with virgin female fruit flies. Muller was able to artificially induce more than 100 mutations in the offspring. ” Cold Springs Harbor Laboratory: “In 1932, Muller moved to Berlin on a Guggenheim Fellowship. The rise of the Nazis in Germany, however, cut short his time in that country. In 1933 he moved to the Russian city of Saint Petersburg (then known as Leningrad) to continue his research as the senior geneticist at the Institute of Genetics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. The following year he moved to Moscow.
1927. The United States Supreme Court blesses Eugenics in Buck v. Bell.

Edwin Black, SF Gate: “In its infamous 1927 decision, Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote, “It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime, or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind . . . Three generations of imbeciles are enough.” This decision opened the floodgates for thousands to be coercively sterilized or otherwise persecuted as subhuman. Years later, the Nazis at the Nuremberg trials quoted Holmes’ words in their own defense. Only after eugenics became entrenched in the United States was the campaign transplanted into Germany, in no small measure through the efforts of California eugenicists, who published booklets idealizing sterilization and circulated them to German officials and scientists. Hitler studied American eugenics laws. He tried to legitimize his anti- Semitism by medicalizing it, and wrapping it in the more palatable pseudoscientific facade of eugenics. Hitler was able to recruit more followers among reasonable Germans by claiming that science was on his side. Hitler’s race hatred sprung from his own mind, but the intellectual outlines of the eugenics Hitler adopted in 1924 were made in America.” This Supreme Court decision was Buck v. Bell. Essentially, Carrie Buck’s “adoptive mother’s nephew raped Carrie, and her later commitment has been seen as an attempt by the family to save their reputation.”
1929. Rockefeller funds Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research.
1929. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “Another in the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute’s complex of eugenics institutions was the Institute for Brain Research. Since 1915, it had operated out of a single room. Everything changed when Rockefeller money arrived in 1929. A grant of $317,000 allowed the institute to construct a major building and take center stage in German race biology. The institute received additional grants from the Rockefeller Foundation during the next several years. Leading the institute, once again, was Hitler’s medical henchman Ernst Rüdin. Rüdin’s organization became a prime director and recipient of the murderous experimentation and research conducted on Jews, Gypsies and others.”

A rescue effort was organized, with the supervision of the Bank of England’s Montagu Norman, to funnel cash into the Nazi coffers. For decades, American eugenicists had craved twins to advance their research into heredity. The Institute was now prepared to undertake such research on an unprecedented level. On May 13, 1932, the Rockefeller Foundation in New York dispatched a radiogram to its Paris office: JUNE MEETING EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS OVER THREE YEAR PERIOD TO KWG INSTITUTE ANTHROPOLOGY FOR RESEARCH ON TWINS AND EFFECTS ON LATER GENERATIONS OF SUBSTANCES TOXIC FOR GERM PLASM.”
January 4, 1933. Allen Dulles and John Foster Dulles, meet with Adolf Hitler Hitler and Goebbels to provide financial support for a plan to install Hitler as chancellor and revitalize German industry.

Nazi Hydra, Page 50. “As early as September 1932, leading Ruhr industrialists told George Strasser that they had suggested t the highest offices in Berlin that Hitler be appointed chancellor. By November, business leaders took a more active role in securing a Hitler government by sending a petition seeking his appointment as chancellor. The petition originated with members of the Keppler Circle and was signed by Kurt von Schroeder. Vogler, Thyssen and others. The petition was less than successful in the business community, as the Nazis became more radical in their demands throughout the summer, into the fall and through the November election. The radicalism cost Hitler and the Nazi Party dearly. They lost 34 seats in the Reichstag and their source of funding from business leaders was severely cut… With the arrival of a new year, the Nazi Party’s future looked dim. Hopes were dashed by the November election, and the party experienced severe financial difficulties. However, business leaders turned against the new Schleicher government and arranged a meeting between Hitler and von Papen. The objective of the meeting at the Cologne home of Kurt von Schroeder was to form a new government led by Hitler and von Papen. Baron von Schroeder was a co-director of the Thyssen foundry with Johann Groeninger, Prescott Bush’s New York bank partner. The meeting took place in utmost secrecy on Jan. 4 1933 with two Americans present: John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles. The Dulles brothers were there representing their client, Kuhn, Loeb & Co., which had extended large, short-term credits to Germany and needed assurance of repayment from Hitler before committing to support him. Several people were arrested including a leading, Georgi Dimitrov, general secretary of the Comintern, the international communist organization. Dimitrov was eventually acquitted but a young man from the Netherlands, Marianus van der Lubbe, was eventually executed for the crime. As a teenager Lubbe had been a communist and Hermann Goering used this information to claim that the Reichstag Fire was part of a KPD plot to overthrow the government. Hitler gave orders that all leaders of the German Communist Party should ‘be hanged that very night.’ Paul von Hindenburg vetoed this decision but did agree that Hitler should take ‘dictatorial powers.’ KPD candidates in the election were arrested and Hermann Goering announced that the Nazi Party planned ‘to exterminate’ German communists. Thousands of members of the Social Democrat Party and Communist Party were arrested and sent to recently opened to concentration camps.”

Under the agreement, Harriman International, headed by Oliver Harriman, first cousin to Averell, would lead a syndicate of 150 firms and individuals to conduct all exports from Germany to the United States.” Note: this company is more often referred to as Brown Brothers Harriman.
July 14, 1933. Germany passes eugenics legislation.

Wikipedia: “Law for the Prevention of Genetically Diseased Offspring” (Ger.Gesetz zur Verhütung erbkranken Nachwuchses) or “Sterilisation Law” was a statute in Nazi Germany enacted on July 14, 1933, (and made active in January 1934) which allowed the compulsory sterilisation of any citizen who in the opinion of a “Genetic Health Court” (Gr.Erbgesundheitsgericht) suffered from a list of alleged genetic disorders – many of which were not, in fact, genetic. The elaborate interpretive commentary on the law was written by three dominant figures in the racial hygiene movement: Ernst Rüdin, Arthur Gütt and the lawyer Falk Ruttke. The law itself was based on a ‘model’ American law developed by Harry H. Laughlin.”
1934. American eugenicists are proud they have influenced Hitler’s eugenics plans.
1934. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “During the Reich’s early years, eugenicists across America welcomed Hitler’s plans as the logical fulfillment of their own decades of research and effort. California eugenicists republished Nazi propaganda for American consumption. They also arranged for Nazi scientific exhibits, such as an August 1934 display at the L.A. County Museum, for the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association. In 1934, as Germany’s sterilizations were accelerating beyond 5,000 per month, the California eugenics leader C. M. Goethe, upon returning from Germany, ebulliently bragged to a colleague, “You will be interested to know that your work has played a powerful part in shaping the opinions of the group of intellectuals who are behind Hitler in this epoch-making program. Everywhere I sensed that their opinions have been tremendously stimulated by American thought . . . I want you, my dear friend, to carry this thought with you for the rest of your life, that you have really jolted into action a great government of 60 million people.” That same year, 10 years after Virginia passed its sterilization act, Joseph DeJarnette, superintendent of Virginia’s Western State Hospital, observed in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, “The Germans are beating us at our own game.” More than just providing the scientific roadmap, America funded Germany’s eugenic institutions.”

1934. Nazi Hydra, Page 71. “By 1934, with Hitler in solid control of Germany, the profits from the Thyssen-Flick union soared to more than 100 million. Both Union Bank and the Bank door Handel en Scheepvaart were overflowing with money. Prescott Bush became managing director of Union Bank and took over the day-to-day operations of the German plan.”
1934. Otmar Freiherr von Verschuer forms eugenics facility in Frankfurt, funded by Rockefeller; researches genetics in twins.
1935. Edwin Black, SF Gate: At the time of Rockefeller’s endowment, Otmar Freiherr von Verschuer, a hero in American eugenics circles, functioned as a head of the Institute for Anthropology, Human Heredity and Eugenics. Rockefeller funding of that institute continued both directly and through other research conduits during Verschuer’s early tenure. In 1935, Verschuer left the institute to form a rival eugenics facility in Frankfurt that was much heralded in the American eugenics press. Research on twins in the Third Reich exploded, backed by government decrees. Verschuer wrote in Der Erbarzt, a eugenics doctor’s journal he edited, that Germany’s war would yield a “total solution to the Jewish problem.” Aside, Rockarch: “By 1935 the RF (Rockefeller Foundation) was contributing to the psychiatry departments of six institutions and founded a seventh at the University of Chicago.”
1936. IG Farben produces Zyklon B.
1936. Clarity of Signal: “In 1936, it (IG Farben) was the principal source for Zyklon B, the poison used in German concentration camps.”
September 1939. Germany invades Poland; Rockefeller’s Standard Oil executives meet with IG Farben and vow to keep business partnership.
Anton Chaitken: “The German chemical company IG Farben and Rockefeller’s Standard Oil of New Jersey were effectively a single firm, merged in hundreds of cartel arrangements. IG Farben was led, up until 1937 by the Warburg family, Rockefeller’s partners in banking and in the design of Nazi German eugenics. Following the Nazi invasion of Poland in September 1939, Britain and Germany declared war on each other and World War II began. But later that month, Standard Oil executives flew to the Netherlands on a British Royal Air Force bomber and met with IG Farben executives. Standard Oil pledged to keep the merger with IG Farben going even if the United States entered the war. This was exposed in 1942 by Sen. Harry Truman’s investigating committee, and President Franklin Roosevelt took hundreds of legal measures during the war to counter the Standard Oil-IG Farben cartel’s supply operation for the enemy war machine. In 1940-41, IG Farben built a gigantic factory at Auschwitz in Poland, to utilize the Standard Oil-IG Farben patents with concentration camp slave labor to make gasoline from coal. The SS guarded the Jewish and other inmates and selected for killing those who were unfit for IG Farben slave labor. Standard-Germany President Emil Helfferich testified after the war that Standard Oil funds helped pay for the SS guards at Auschwitz. On March 26, 1940, six months after the Standard Oil-IG Farben meeting, European Rockefeller Foundation official Daniel O’Brian wrote to the foundation’s chief medical officer Alan Gregg that “it would be unfortunate if it was chosen to stop research which has no relation to war issues.” The “non-war- related” research continued. The Rockefeller Foundation defends its record by claiming that its funding of Nazi German programs during World War II was limited to psychiatric research.”

April 27, 1940. Auschwitz is ordered to be constructed. Mysterious Universe: “Nazi death camp at Auschwitz, Poland. Ordered to be constructed on April 27, 1940, by chief Nazi scumbag Heinrich Himmler. Among the many horrors of Auschwitz were the numerous medical experiments carried out here, most notably by Nazi doctors Carl Clauberg and Josef Mengele. Experiments covered a range of areas, including finding ways to sterilize Jewish women, the effects of many noxious substances on the human body, and trying to find ways to clone the “perfect Aryan.” Most often those chosen to be experimented on showed some unique physical traits, such as different colored eyes or having a genetic condition such as dwarfism or conversely gigantism, and reached such deranged, gruesome heights that Mengele would earn himself the ominous nickname “The Angel of Death.” Certainly one of the more infamous lines of experimentation was carried out by Mengele on twins. Indeed, the mad doctor had a twisted fascination with twins, and he also believed that they were the key to saving the Aryan race if women could be somehow assured of giving birth to blonde haired, blue eyed twins. As he constantly surveyed the surging lines of bedraggled prisoners endlessly filing past the barbed wire and soldiers into the camp from the filthy cattle cars, Mengele’s eyes would light up whenever he spotted twins, which he would immediately have pulled aside from the crowds, saving them from hard labor or execution, yet dooming them to a perhaps worse fate.”

It was one of several canyons around Los Alamos used as dumping grounds by the lab during the Manhattan Project and the subsequent Cold War.” …. “The scientists knew this canyon was contaminated back in the 1950s and ’60s,” said Greg Mello, a former inspector with the state Environment Department and now a partner in the nuclear watchdog Los Alamos Study Group with his wife, Trish. “Their children played here.”

May 30, 1943. Edwin Black, SF Gate: “On May 30, 1943, Mengele arrived at Auschwitz. Verschuer notified the German Research Society, ‘My assistant, Dr. Josef Mengele (M.D., Ph.D.) joined me in this branch of research. He is presently employed as Hauptsturmführer (captain) and camp physician in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Anthropological testing of the most diverse racial groups in this concentration camp is being carried out with permission of the SS Reichsführer (Himmler).'” The website for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum says “Mengele began his career at Auschwitz in the spring of 1943 as the medical officer responsible for Birkenau’s ‘Gypsy camp.’ Several weeks after its liquidation, in November 1943 Mengele undertook a new position as Chief Camp Physician of Auschwitz II (Birkenau).” “Mengele became interested in using twins for medical research through his mentor, Verschuer. January 22, 1944. The Guardian: “a January 22 1944 executive order signed by President Franklin Roosevelt calling on the government to take all measures to rescue the European Jews. The lawyers claim the order was ignored because of pressure brought by a group of big American companies, including BBH, where Prescott Bush was a director.” Britannica: Auschwitz was not bombed. If it had been, it would have slowed the rate of execution, as the plant was operating at maximum efficiency. Prisoners there said they welcomed every bomb they heard. They didn’t even bomb the bridges and railways bringing the prisoners to Auschwitz. In 2001, Kurt Julius Goldstein and Peter Gingold, age 87 and 85 at the time, sued the United States government for ignoring the Executive Order of FDR. I can’t find the original suit, but a summary article is here. IG Farben’s headquarters were not bombed. Wikipedia: “During World War II, the surrounding neighbourhood was devastated, but the building itself was left largely intact.” The IG Farben building was completed in 1930 and served as American headquarters in Germany after the war.

These releases were not from the numerous nuclear explosions in New Mexico, but from “dirty bombs.” Report on Search for Human Radiation Experiment Records 1944-1994 Volume I: From September 1944 to March 1962,254implosion experiments involving various amounts of high explosives and radioactive lanthanum were conducted at LASL. The entire RaLa program was conducted in Technical Area 10 in Bayo Canyon (see map 2). According to the Los Alamos Human Studies Project Team, the Atmospheric Physics Laboratory of the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratory took advantage of three of the RaLa events to test radiation detection equipment. A calibration effort was conducted after the last tracking flight… In January 1994, the Human Studies Project Team was established to collect information on Los Alamos National Laboratory participation in human radiation experimentation and the RaLa program. None of the RaLa data collected contained information suggesting that any human experimentation of any kind was planned or performed in conjunction with any RaLa tests. ” If you read enough of these government documents, you start to break the code on their non-denial denials. Although the United States had a legitimate need to test equipment and methods used to track radiation in the event of a nuclear war with the USSR, they only tested their radiation-detecting equipment and methods for 3 of the 254 intentional releases of radiation into the atmosphere near Los Alamos, New Mexico. The DOE did not say the government was not conducting human experiments; they said data of that nature was not collected. A systematic release of that much radiation over that long a period of time, with no explanation offered to the contrary, was to test the results of how the radiation created genetic mutations in human populations over time, in my opinion.

He spent the next few weeks at the Gross-Rosen concentration camp, until its evacuation. He then made his way west to evade capture by Soviet forces. In the immediate postwar period, Mengele was in US custody. Unaware that Mengele’s name already stood on a list of wanted war criminals, US officials quickly released him. According to REDACTED, he was one of four men who met HITLER and his party when they landed from two submarines in Argentina approximately two and one-half weeks after the fall of Berlin. (Battle of Berlin was Apri 16- May 2, 1945). REDACTED continued that the first sub came close to the shore about 11:00 p.m. after it had been signaled that it was safe to land and a doctor and several men disembarked. Approximately two hours later the second sub came ashore and HITLER, two women, another doctor, and several more men, making the whole party arriving by submarine approximately 50, were aboard. By pre-arranged plan with top Argentina officials, pack horses were waiting for the group and by daylight all supplies were loaded on the horses and an all-day trip inland toward the foothills of the southern Andes was started.”

July 16, 1945. The Manhattan Project results in a successful nuclear explosion in the desert of New Mexico. Only 6 years earlier, “Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassmann reported the discovery of uranium fission in the January 6, 1939 issue of Die Naturwissenschaften, and Lise Meitner identified it as nuclear fission in the February 11, 1939 issue of Nature.” Readers should note here that the United States government does not publish its research. Like the Manhattan project and the nuclear bomb, genetic research probably has a government history that predates public disclosures. Genetic mutations from radiation were surely studied as well. Trinity Site is about 110 miles south of Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, by they way.
From Santa Fe New Mexican: “Kent said it was many years later that she learned the “snow” was actually fallout from the massive explosion at ground zero. Neighboring campers came out to watch as the “snow” covered streets and grass and coated the top of the river that flowed alongside the campsite, she remembered. ‘We put it on our hands and were rubbing it on our face,’ she said. ‘We were all having such a good time in that river, trying to catch what we thought was snow. … There was a lot, let me tell you.’ Of the 12 girls at the camp, Kent said, only two lived to be 40. She herself survived skin cancer and several other cancers. Her mother, who was staying in the nearby Noisy Water Lodge 70 years ago, died of a brain tumor. Verschuer re- established his connections with California eugenicists who had gone underground and renamed their crusade ‘human genetics.’ Typical was an exchange July 25, 1946, when Popenoe wrote Verschuer, ‘It was indeed a pleasure to hear from you again. I have been very anxious about my colleagues in Germany . . . I suppose sterilization has been discontinued in Germany?’ Popenoe offered tidbits about various American eugenics luminaries and then sent various eugenics publications. In a separate package, Popenoe sent some cocoa, coffee and other goodies.”

July 9, 1947. Rancher W. Brazel says he found debris similar to materials from a weather balloon.
July 9, 1947. Rancher W. W. Brazel tells his story, which has no account of a flying saucer. Brazel said he found a debris field of rubber, tinfoil, tough paper, sticks, and Scotch tape. “The balloon which held it up, if that was how it worked, must have been about 12 feet long.” Brazel’s description could match a high altitude balloon, which could have been used for high altitude experiments.
December, 1949. The “Green Run” release of radiation at Hanford, Washington.
December 2-3, 1949. The “Green Run” radiation release at Hanford, Washington. Hanford provided the nuclear material for the Trinity bomb. From Washington State Department of Health: “…Hanford’s largest single release of iodine-131 was the result of a secret military experiment. “Green Run” refers to a secret U.S. Air Force Experiment at Hanford that released somewhere between 7,000 and 12,000 curies of iodine-131 to the air on December 2-3, 1949. The experiment was called the Green Run because it involved a processing “run” of uranium fuel that had been cooled for only a short time (16 days), and was, therefore, “green.”
March, 1950. FBI memo on “Flying Saucers” and 3′ Tall Bodies.
March 22, 1950. The “flying saucers” are back again, this time with 3 small bodies. From a memorandum to the Director of the FBI (J. Edgar Hoover). “Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.”
I won’t bother with the type of hypothetical propulsion systems that could have been used to fly a “saucer” and whether or not that happened. I would suggest that there is likely a measure of truth and disinformation surrounding this issue. The question I am exploring is the one of human genetic modification. The issue simply hinges on whether or not actual 3’ tall humans with distorted features (from other accounts) in fact existed in 1947. If they did, they were clearly the result of genetic experiments. So, did they exist? Yes, probably.
I believe the history of the fascination with eugenics and genetics in the United States, which gave rise to the same thing in Germany, means that United States government was very likely conducting genetic experiments by 1947 if not well before. German scientists like Mendele and Verscheur were conducting genetic experiments during World War II at Auschwitz and perhaps Dachau. Many of these scientists were brought into the United States under Paperclip. Hitler was, in large part, a pawn of business interests in the United States. Hitler was a vehicle to conduct genetic experiments in Germany that were still somewhat frowned upon in the United States.
Requirements for superior fighter pilots would have included a lower requirement for oxygen, a higher resistance to cold, and a smaller size to allow smaller cockpits which could aid in the aerodynamic design of planes. This might explain the small size and distorted stature of the human figures in the FBI report. Also, as space exploration was a topic of research in this era, lower requirements of oxygen, heat, and space would have been very advantageous qualities for inhabitants in some type of hypothetical space station.
The question to me is not so much could the government make genetic modifications on humans for military purposes in 1947, but would they? The answer here is a resounding yes. They never told a soul about dumping radiation into the air and their nuclear “tests” to allow people to take cover. My opinion is in no small way influenced by the story of Fiona Barnett, who told of the government effort to build “Super Soldiers,” in what appears to be the 1970s and 1980s. That story is here and it is a disturbing one.
Here’s another point to clear up. Were people like Prescott Bush, Allen Dulles, and the Harriman Brothers “Nazis?” Not exactly. They were almost certainly racists and eugenicists, and very likely fascists, but what they were was beyond a doubt – Bankers. Bankers don’t care if what they finance is Republican or Democrat, Nazi or Communist, God or Devil, as long as they get their cut. They typically try to start wars and finance both sides. There’s a very good timeline on the history of this strategy here if you’re interested. Some people will call that linked story discriminatory because it primarily involves people who claim to practice one religion. I just call it history. There’s certainly been volumes of criminal history written about the Christian religion as well, of which I am a non-practicing member.
